Anyone who visits our offices in winter will note that the temperature inside is comfortably warm despite the cold outdoor temperatures. One might think “There must be a radiator turned up high somewhere”. Actually, the heat does not come from a radiator but from the printing presses themselves.

During the printing process, our presses produce a lot of waste heat which is released into the immediate environment. However, we don’t let this waste heat go to waste, we make use of it.

This is done using catalysts, which convert the energy and waste heat from the presses and distribute this through the entire company building. This means that the waste heat from the printing presses alone can heat the entire four-storey company and residential building.
